After a pivotal victory at the Lusail Grand Prix, the reigning world champion has significantly narrowed the deficit in the driver's standings. He now finds himself just a dozen points behind leader Lando Norris and in front of teammate Oscar Piastri, everything is in place for a electrifying three-way season finale at the famous Yas Marina Circuit.

• The championship leader can secure his first-ever world title if he beats both his two rivals or achieves a top-three position.
